Above the Inn with superb views of the lake are six tidy white clapboard cottages, miniatures of the quaint homes seen in the village.

Four additional winterized cottages are located on the same hillside, or in the woods nearby. All cottages, clean and well-kept, have private bath, living areas, and porches, and range in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms. Most have kitchenettes and gas-fired or wood stoves; all cottages have electric heat.

Cottage 1

One of our 1920's vintage cottages on the hillside above the inn, this cottage exudes the simple comfort of an era gone by. The shaded cottage has a high-ceiling main room with woodstove, kitchenette, and is furnished for enjoying a simple lunch, writing at the desk, or relaxing on couch or easy chair,Three bedrooms and a bathroom are accessed via the maiin room; like the main room all have cottage-style wood paneling. One bedroom has double bed, one has double and twin beds, and a third has two twin beds. The bath is also vintage, with clawfoot tub and European hand-held hower. The cottage entrance is from the porch, complete with rocker and chairs from which you can view beautiful Caspian Lake.

Cottage 2

This inviting 1920s wood-paneled vintage cottage is situated on the hillside above the inn. The long and airy main room has windows across the front, views of the lake, and is furnished for relaxing and lunching, with kitchenette and woostove.The cottage has two bedrooms, one with double and twin bed, and one with 2 twin beds. The vintage bathroom has old-fashioned clawfoot tub and European hand-held shower. The porch has chairs and a rocker to enjoy the beautiful vantage of the lake.

Cottage 3

This charming 1920s paneled vintage cottage has two bedrooms, one with double and twin bed, and one with two twiin beds. The main room has multiple windows, fantastic views of Caspian Lake, and is furnshised for lunching and relaxation. A wood stove and kitchenette complete this room, which has an adjoining porch with rockers and chairs. The vintage bathroom has clawfoot tub and European hand-held shower,

Cottage 4

A cheery 3-bedroom vintage cottage, with stunning views of Caspian Lake from both living room and porch. Two of the 3 bedrooms even have vantages of the lake! The main room has woodstove, kitchenette, and seating for lunching or relaxing. One bedroom has double bed and lake view, a second has double and twin bed and lake view, a third has two twin beds. The vintage bathroom has clawfoot tub and European hand-held shower.

Cottage 5

This appealing cottage is 1950s vintage, and has furnished living area with fire place and fridge. The cottage's bedroom has a queen and single bed, and attached bath with tub and shower, The porch and living room have lovely views of the lake, meadow, and sunsets.

Cottage 6

A one bedroom cottage with lovely views of the lake, this cottage has a sunny living area, writing desk, and refrigerator and dbouble sofa bed. The bedroom has a queen and twin bed, and attached bath with tub and shower. The lakeview porch may be accessed by steps or ramp.

Cottage 7

This cheerful two-bedroom lakeview cottage is winterized and has a gas-fired hearthstone stove in the living area. The cottage has a kitchenette. and is furnished for lunching and relaxation. Two bedrooms both have queen and twin beds; the bathroom has tub and shower. The large attached deck extends living space to the outdoors, with beautiful views of the lake.

Cottage 8

A shaded two-bedroom winterized cottage with glimpses of the lake from both deck and cheerful living room, this cottage is furnished with kitchenette and gas-fired "woodstove". The two bedrooms both have queen and twin beds; the bathroom has tub with shower.

Cottage 9

Ideal for the larger family or three couples, this cozy winterized cottage was recently renovated for wheel chair accessibility. A welcoming living area furnished with kitchenette and gas-fired Hearthstone "wood stove"is perfect for relaxing, conversation, or lunching. One of the cabiin's three bedrooms has queen bed, the others two both have queen and twin bed. A large roll-in shower, bathroom with grab-bars, and ramped deck make for easy access to those with walkers or wheelchairs. This wooded cottage has a deck and is a short walk from the inn.

Cottage 10

Located in the woods above the inn, this winterized cottage has a large and bright living room and kitchen with full-size fridge and oven. A central gas-fired Hearthstone stove warms both areas, and the living area has sliding doors that open onto the deck. Two cozy bedrooms, each with queen and twiin bed, and bath with tub and shower provided.

Schuyler’s Cottage

Walk into this two-story shuttered cottage and step back in time. The cottage is a vintage Caspian Lake cottage, dating to the early 1900s. Original knotty pine and oak woodwork give this little abode a true "summer cottage" feel. On the first floor is a full 1940s kitchen with attached dining room. A large living area with mantel, oak table, and gas-fired Hearthstone stove opens onto a shaded porch. The bathroom has clawfoot tub with overhead shower. Take the winding staircase upstairs, to discover 4 bedrooms--one with twin bed, a second with two twin beds, a third with double bed, and a fourth with double and twin bed. Located a short walk from the inn, this semi-wooded cottage has its own play yard in front of the house.
