reakfast, served from 8 to 10 AM, is a sunny and peaceful affair, overlooking either garden or lake. Your choices for breakfast include homemade muffins, breads, granola, and fresh fruit for starters, followed by special omelets, French toast, and waffles, or the Lodge's famous pancakes. Local maple syrup and Vermont cheddar are the finishing touches.
 

inner hour at the Highland Lodge is permeated with an air of casual elegance. From 6 to 8 PM, the four-course dinner is served either on our porch, overlooking lake and sunset, or by candlelight in the dining room. Our chefs create a new dinner menu each night, but the format stays the same, and features homemade soups and appetizers; salads with local greens and homemade dressings; and imaginative entrees featuring fish or seafood, red meat, chicken, and vegetarian fare. Dinner is embellished with homemade rolls, fresh vegetables, and our list of luscious desserts. A light dinner menu is also available.

Our participation in the Vermont Fresh Network, a farmer/chef partnership, assures your meals are made with the freshest local ingredients, while also supporting the stewards of our rural landscape.
