Wolf Cabin

Nestled in the woods of Barr Hill, our historic 1960s Wolf Cabin features a large porch with views of Lake Caspian, two bedrooms, open and bright floorplan, a spacious kitchen, full bathroom, and newly brand new energy efficient appliances. The first bedroom features a pillowtop king bed, the second has a queen bed with space for a rollaway cot upon request. Standard occupancy is 4, with additional guests welcome for an extra guest fee. Occupancy for this room is capped at 6 guests per fire code. 

The newly renovated cabin kitchen boasts energy efficient systems,  a midsize dorm size refrigerator, brand new stove, full size sink,  and flatware/ glassware. With a large dining room table and open floorplan, this is a great cabin for families to congregate.

Our Wolf Cabin is our most secluded, nestled in the Barr Hill woods above Lake Caspian. Our private beach on pristine Lake Caspian is a ten-minute stroll down the hill or an easy drive, and our Wolf Cabin is just a short walk down to the main Farmhouse Lodge. Parking is complimentary, right outside your cabin on a private drive. Our Wolf Cabin was named for local Vermont author, David Wolf Budbill.

All of our rooms and cabins have linens, toiletries, and towels provided.  Our private sandy beach has beach equipment and boat access complimentary for our overnight guests.

Our cottages are no longer pet friendly effective Jan. 1, 2023! As much as we love pupperoonies, we have made the difficult decision to suspend pet accomodations at Highland Lodge. Due the wear & tear on our facilities and the added work with clean up, it is no longer feasible for us to offer. Existing reservations made for the 2023 calendar year will be honored, no future reservations will be accomodated. Thank you for your understanding!
